Divine Revelations

The Holyspirit baptism is a seperate event from water baptism.

Some people believe that when you become a christian, you have automatically received the Holyspirit baptism. This isn't true.
In Acts 8:12-17, these people accepted Jesus as their saviour and were even baptised in water but didn't receive the Holyspirit baptism until the Apostles laid hands on them.
From here,we can tell its a seperate event and its proof that we now belong to God.Ephesians 1:13-14
Its possible to receive the Holyspirit baptism even before you are baptised in water(Acts 10:44-48).
Its God's promise to all who believe and if u haven't received the Holyspirit baptism, seek God for it because u can't overcome sin without the Holyspirit.
Its not all the time that you have to be laid hands on before you receive the Holyspirit baptism. You can ask God for it in prayer.God is willing to give you the Holyspirit. Luke 11:11-13
If you trully desire the Holyspirit baptism, seek God in prayer, with faith.Do not be lazy in prayer but pray with all your heart and God will answer you.
Luke 24:49"And behold,I send the promise of my Father upon you:but tarry in the city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on high."
Also read; John 14:15-18,Acts 2:1-4
Only with the Holyspirit baptism can your flesh be crucified. You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without the Holyspirit baptism.John 3:5-6"Jesus answered, verily verily I say unto thee, execpt a man be born of water AND of the Spirit,he cannot enter the kingdom of God.That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of spirit is spirit."
Its impossible to overcome sin without the Holyspirit, human efforts accomplish nothing, but the Holyspirit overcomes.
Its time to seek God for the Holyspirit, its His promise to all who believe.Do not be found with an empty oil lamp on that day.
Seek God while He maybe found.

Please help me here, if a person has repented in the last minute before that person dies and that person does not get baptized in water, does that mean that person won’t go to heaven,as the bible says a person won’t enter the kingdom of GOD if that person is not baptized with water and HOLY SPIRIT?

That person can still enter the kingdom of heaven because they did not have any chance to go through water baptism as a way of showing repentance. An example is the thief on the cross. He accepted Jesus at the last minute and Jesus Christ assured him he would be saved. There was no way he could go through water baptism. But water baptism should be treated as something important for those who repent and have a chance to go through it.Matthew 28:19

Ma, more grace in Jesus name, may the Lord cause you to wax stronger in Him . QUESTION: according to the book of acts, bible says that they spoke in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance & people heard them & said: “WE HEAR THEM SPEAKING IN OUR OWN TONGUES(i.e in our own language; Acts2:1-11). my questions are: “1.the pentecostal experience, was it the Holy Spirit baptism or not? 2. is speaking in tongues a heavenly language or an earthly language 3. is it a known language or an unknown language according to the book of acts chapter 2? thanks!

I hope this will help anyone looking for the truth of the Gospel because what is being taught here by Rachael Mushala is WRONG and totally unbiblical , I pray that all of you really pay attention to the bible and not false teachers…..

Question: “What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit?”

Answer: The baptism of the Holy Spirit may be defined as that work whereby the Spirit of God places the believer into union with Christ and into union with other believers in the body of Christ at the moment of salvation. First Corinthians 12:12-13 is the central passage in the Bible regarding the baptism of the Holy Spirit: “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink” (1 Corinthians 12:13). While Romans 6:1-4 does not mention specifically the Spirit of God, it does describe the believer’s position before God in language similar to the 1 Corinthians passage: “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

The following facts are necessary to help solidify our understanding of Spirit baptism: First, 1 Corinthians 12:13 clearly states that all have been baptized, just as all been given the Spirit to drink (the indwelling of the Spirit). Second, nowhere in Scripture are believers told to be baptized with, in or by the Spirit, or in any sense to seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This indicates that all believers have had this experience. Third, Ephesians 4:5 seems to refer to Spirit baptism. If this is the case, Spirit baptism is the reality for every believer, just as “one faith” and “one Father” are.

In conclusion, the baptism of the Holy Spirit does two things, 1) it joins us to the body of Christ, and 2) it actualizes our co-crucifixion with Christ. Being in His body means we are risen with Him to newness of life (Romans 6:4). We should then exercise our spiritual gifts to keep that body functioning properly as stated in the context of 1 Corinthians 12:13. Experiencing the one Spirit baptism serves as the basis for keeping the unity of the church, as in the context of Ephesians 4:5. Being associated with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection through Spirit baptism establishes the basis for our separation from the power of indwelling sin and our walk in newness of life (Romans 6:1-10; Colossians 2:12).

……. So basically if you have been baptized in water and confessed Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior you are saved…. Don’t go chasing for DEMONS but rather cultivate a personal relationship with God. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is also the indwelling of the spirit in you.

AND the reason why the Samaritans in ACTS 8:14-17 did not receive the Holy Spirit immediately was because the Samaritans had bitter rivalry with the Jews so when they accepted Jesus Christ God held back the Holy Spirit so they would identify and accept the Apostles . The reason the Holy Spirit was held back on them was so that they can identify with the Apostles. That is the only reason they did not receive the Holy Spirit during baptism by immersion in water.

Here is the PROOF of the rivalry between Jews and Samaritans…

    John 4:9
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

May God have mercy on you Tony Thikaunited. You are one confused lad. Your point and scriptural evidence you try give don’t go together. Let me ask you. Why did John the Baptist say about Jesus? What was Jesus going to baptise people with? What happened to Paul after Ananias prayed for him? This post has nothing to do with Rachel. This is what the Bible teaches. This is about you attacking Rachel, throwing the kitchen sink on her for whatever reason.

lasupo Adeboye, there are 2 types of tongues that both come from the Holyspirit. There are tongues were a person speaks a human language that they do not know in their natural state like in Acts 2 when this happened, and there are tongues of angels(1corinthians 13:1).
I believe the Acts 2 experience was the Holyspirit bapism because Jesus had told them to wait till they receieve the Holyspirit, and after the Acts 2 experience,we see the Apostles going out and spreading the gospel not only in Jerusalem but everywhere else as The Lord had told them.Tongues can sometimes be a form of prophecy when a prophetic message is given through tongues and interprated in a familiar language(which is also a gift). And sometimes they are used in prayer. Its a gift of the Holyspirit. He gives to eachone as He desires

its impossible to die to your desires without the Holyspirit.Only He can set you free from the bondage of sin. That’s why people cannot enter heaven without the Holyspirit. Its because you cannot break free from sin without Him.He is a gift,to help us in our walk with Christ.A promise to all who believe. He is our comforter and is so amazing!

Ezk 36:26 said, A new heart will i give u, nd a new spirit will i put within u, nd i’ll take away de stony heart out of ur flesh, nd i’ll give u an heart of flesh. In Heb 12:14 de bible said, Follow peace wit all men, nd holiness, witout which no man or woman shall see de Lord. After salvation, dere is what is called Sanctification, or removing of de adamic nature of sin in de life of de believe, it’s called de second work of God grace, when u ar save( salvation ) u ar a child of God Jon 1:12, when u ar sanctify, u ar made holy nd de tendercy 2 sin is no more dere John 17:17, de thoughts, de urge, de feelings 2 sin is rooted out by his blood by Sanctification experience. When u ar filled wit de Holy Ghost( de third work of God grace ), u ar filled wit power frm on high Act 1:8, Holy Ghost baptism is nt just speaking in tongues, bt dere is power 2 wrought wonders, dere is power 2 preach de gosple nd souls will be getting save, bcos of de Holy Ghost power, bt a person who is Sanctify can make heaven at last, bt dere will be no power 2 pray effectively, dere will no power 2 decerned between gud nd evil, dere will be no power 2 preach de gospel nd souls getting save, dere will be no power 2 wrought wonders, no revelation frm God 2 u, nd lot more. If u need de Holy Ghost baptism as a true sanctify child of God, u must thirst 4 it or desire it more dan anytin, nt just praying alone 4 it, bt de thirst nd desire must be dere 4 it more dan anytin read Isaiah 44:3 nd, as de water panted after de water brooks, so panted mine soul after thee oh Lord. So de desire must be dere. Nd again when u ar born again de Spirit of God beareth witness wit ur spirit dat u ar a child of God, it’s de Spirit of Christ Jesus dat set u free, de same Holy Ghost, when u ar save, de Spirit of God is dere, when u ar sanctify, de Spirit of God is dere, when u ar filled in de Holy Ghost, de Spirit comes nd dwell in full measure in u wit power 2 live a victorious life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

yes,the Holyspirit is the oil.Just like the foolish virgins with no oil in their lamps were not ready when the bridegroom came,in the same way those without the Holyspirit will not be ready when Jesus Christ returns.

it is true that without the holyspirit we struggle very much to keep sin at bay.due to this it becomes a life where we have to confess sin daily(evil thoughts,desiresetc-which many try to ward off with great frustrations)there4 we need the HolySpirit
