COMEDIANS LEADING PEOPLE TO HELL
Ephesians 5:3-7 “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; NEITHER FILTHINESS nor FOOLISH TALKING, nor COARSE JESTING which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, UNCLEAN PERSON nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.”
Hello friends, today I want to talk about a topic often overlooked but a very serious one. That is the issue of foolish jokes. These are jokes that are full of dirty talk and other similar things that do not please God.
Let me make a disclaimer before I delve in this post. The bible DOES NOT say we should NOT say ANY Jokes. I have heard many people who believe in holiness say that we should not joke at all. That is not what the bible says. We should not be religious but follow what the bible says. The bible warns about COARSE JESTING. This simply means jokes that are in bad taste spiritually.These jokes can be in the form of stand up comedy or in the form of videos are we see them on social media or even in written form among other forms of communication. They have dirty jokes about sex and other similar things that grieve the Holy Spirit.
Satan is very cunning and we should know that he has many ways of trying to get us.
To the ordinary eye,someone will say this is just a comedy skit and will see nothing wrong with it.
Ask yourself if Jesus would sit down and watch that comedy skit or whatever kind of comedy.
If you have the Holy Spirit in you,you will feel some type of way.
There are also acted short videos on life lessons that have filled social media, but the Holy Spirit has been convicting me that watching these is as good as watching secular movies only that in a short form, while stating that there is a moral to the whole video. Sure enough there may be a lesson…but all those things the Lord is against in secular tv are also in these short videos.
These are things such as the portrayal of a Godless lifestyle as normal,promotion of illicit relationships,promotion of secular music etc. Some of these even promote gayism and lesbianism. Eventually you will stop seeing anything wrong with this and start living a life of sin. You can’t say you will balance. The bible says no man can serve two masters at a time. You have to LET GO of sin!
You will also find yourself watching one video after another while you don’t even have time to lift up your Bible and read.
The bible tells us that friendship with the world is enemity with God.
The bible says the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin. That is why we need to be baptised with the Holy Spirit. If you are not yet baptised with the Holy Spirit, you can ask in prayer until you receive.
Hebrews 8:10 ” For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

The Lord also told me the same thing about jokes. There are jokes that the Lord hates like sexual or green jokes, discrimination jokes and jokes which lead people in physical danger. At first it was look like nothing but when the Lord repeat in my mind the those jokes. I feel sorry for it was mockery to others and serious physical injuries to the people.
